COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIES is the study of the prevention and treatment of health problems using natural and traditional remedies.

The main purpose of this narrow field of education is to develop an understanding of the importance of diet, exercise and lifestyle factors which influence health and wellbeing, the use of natural substances and acupressure to heal disease, and professional responsibility in relation to individuals and the community (ABS).
